How city bulk trash works

Both Maricopa and Casa Grande run scheduled bulk or brush pickup through their contracted waste providers, generally a limited number of times per year, with rules on pile size, placement and what's accepted. Schedules and limits change, so confirm the current dates and requirements with your city or hauler before you stage a pile.

The tradeoff is simple: it costs nothing, and you wait — sometimes months — with the pile sitting in view of the street the whole time.

What city pickup usually won't take

• Appliances containing refrigerant, like fridges, freezers and A/C units.
• Tires, car batteries, motor oil, paint and chemicals.
• Construction and remodel debris, concrete, dirt and roofing material.
• Anything over the posted pile size or weight limit.
• Items from inside the home — city crews only take what's already at the curb.

When junk removal makes more sense

• You're on a deadline: a home sale, a rental turnover, an HOA notice or an inspection.
• The items are inside — a garage, a second-floor bedroom, a backyard behind a gate.
• It's a mixed pile with items the city rejects, so you'd be left with a leftover pile anyway.
• It's heavy: hot tubs, sheds, treadmills, pianos, mattresses in bulk.
• You physically can't haul it, and renting a truck plus a dump fee plus a Saturday costs more than you think.

Text us a photo of the pile and we'll send a flat price based on how much trailer space it takes. If you approve, we schedule — most Maricopa and Casa Grande hauls happen within a few days, and we hold same-week slots for urgent jobs.

Our crew does every bit of the lifting, sweeps the area afterward, and diverts usable items to local donation centers and metal to recycling rather than sending everything to the landfill.
